Childhood Favorite - Sauteed Bananas with Maple Syrup

Sometimes simple can be very beautiful and tasty.

Add a pat of butter to your saute pan at medium heat. After butter has melted, add a banana that has been cut in half length wise, then halved again. Saute until browned. Serve with maple syrup.

Other toppings that taste great with sauteed bananas are whipped cream, a drizzle of half and half, and a dash of cinnamon or cocoa powder.
