Chicken Pot Pie - Paula Deen Style!

Hey Y'all. Today we're cookin up comfort food that's so good it will make you wanna smack yo' mama. First off, start by defrosting two puff pastries. (This recipe makes two pies!) Cut each into strips, and make into two lattices. Brush with an egg wash and bake @ approx. 405 degrees until desired puffness is reached. Let cool on the pan.

Now make your sauce. Add 2 cans cream of chicken soup and 1 can of cream of celery. Add one small container of sour cream and hungarian paprika to taste. Mix with frozen peas, cooked corn and cooked carrots. Add your finger lickin' pieces of roasted chicken to the mix. Cook until heated through @ approx. 350 degrees, about 30 minutes.

Once done, add your cooled puff pastry to the top and serve.
